Role Overview
- Data Management:
- Extract accurate data from claim documents, ensuring attention to detail.
- Review, control quality, and amend cause of loss and loss location data in the claims system.
- Claims Support:
- Provide general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing, and adjusting claims.
- Authorize appropriate payments or refer claims for further investigation.
- Productivity & Quality Standards:
- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
- Identify trends and provide reports, as necessary.
- Document Review:
- Examine documents for completeness, accuracy, or conformance to standards.
- Conduct data entry and re-work as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Relevant work experience in claims processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Preferred Skills:
- Ability to analyze processes, identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes in the US market.
