Purpose of the Hybrid Job Role

As a Data analyst, you will be a key player in optimizing our performance marketing channels and digital experiences, contributing to the success of our platforms and labs. Based in Gurgaon and reporting to the Manager of the Digital Experimentation & Insights team, you will deliver impactful analytics and insights that drive decision-making and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analytics: Deliver analytics focused on Performance Marketing channels, Digital Acquisition, and membership experiences.
  • KPI Development: Define and build key KPIs to monitor the health and success of channels, products, and platforms.
  • Product Support: Assist in the development of new products and capabilities, providing insights that inform product evolution.
  • Campaign Analysis: Analyze campaigns, uncover insights, and apply learnings to optimize channels further.
  • Data Mining: Power strategic analysis by mining digital activity data and American Express closed-loop data.
  • Enterprise-Wide Product Understanding: Gain a deep functional understanding of enterprise-wide product capabilities and ensure relevant and actionable insights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills are preferred, with experience in Big Data programming languages (Hive, Spark), Python, and SQL.
  • Data Processing Experience: Experience in handling large data sets and an understanding of data science is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence partners to drive collaboration and alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking competence to solve complex business problems.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of statistical techniques for experimentation and hypothesis testing (regression, t-test, chi-square test).
