Job Description:
Omron Asia Pacific is offering a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Program tailored for fresh Engineering Graduates interested in building a career in Industrial Automation. Over 12 months, trainees will gain technical and non-technical experience in factory automation, with potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Key Learnings & Responsibilities:
- Technical Skills: Program, install, and commission PLC, HMI, Servo drives, VFD, Vision systems, Robotics, and Safety products.
- Software & Coding: Learn Ladder and Python coding, perform data analysis, and understand PLC, Servo drives, VFD, and robotics.
- Technical Projects: Conduct feasibility studies, prepare BOMs, and engage in technical discussions with customers.
- Sales & Management: Participate in sales activities, vendor management, and customer interactions.
- Documentation: Prepare reports, technical documents, and success stories.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent Diploma in Electronics, Electricals, Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Basics of PLC, SCADA, Servo drives, VFD, Robotics, and Industrial Networking.
- Skills: Knowledge of Ladder, Python, C+, C#, and basic Electronics systems.
- Behavioral Competencies: Strong communication, active listening, commitment, positive attitude, and a passion for Industrial Automation.
